Compatibile with Thermomix TM5 and TM31
Ingredients
- 5 oz white cabbage
- 7 oz pork mince
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- ½ tsp sugar
- 30 wonton wrappers
- For frying
- 2 oz water
- as needed sesame oil
- For sprinkle
- 2 tbs soy sauce
- 2 tbs sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- to taste sesame seeds
Steps
- Put into the bowl the cabbage: 5 sec. speed 8.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and repeat: 5 sec. speed 8.
- The cabbage should be very finely sliced.
- Transfer the cabbage into a strainer and squeeze out very well any excess liquid.
- Transfer the cabbage back into the bowl.
- Add pork mince, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar: 20 sec. speed 3 reverse.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl and repeat: 20 sec. speed 3 reverse.
- Check for a completely combined result.
- With a spoon fill each wonton wrapper, in the middle, with bowl's mixture.
- Wet the edges with water, fold one half on top of the other and press the edges together.
- In a frying pan heat the sesame oil at medium heat.
- Put the gyozas and allow to cook for 3 - 4 minutes (until golden) on one side.
- Pour the water over gyozas, place a lid onto the frying pan and leave to cook for another 3 - 4 minutes (until the water has completely evaporated).
- Repeat the process to cook all the remaining gyozas.
- Mix in a separate cup the soy sauce, chilli sauce and ginger and serve with the gyozas.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds all over the gyoza to taste.
