Tortillas with coconut oil

  • 12 oz bakers flour
  • 6 oz water
  • 2 oz coconut oil
  • 1 tsp salt


  1. Put into the bowl flour, water, coconut oil and salt: 30 sec. speed 6.
  2. Then: 2 min. spped Knead.
  3. Add a little extra flour if needed and continue.
  4. Allow the dough to rest for 15 minutes then divide it into 8 pieces.
  5. Roll out each piece of dough into thin circles very thin (they will cook quickly).
  6. Place a large frying pan on a medium heat and start cooking tortillas on it.
  7. They must cook for about two minute on each side (once they start bubbling, flip it over).
  8. They must be cooked but still soft and flexible.
  9. Stack the cooked tortillas on a plate while cooking others, they will remain warm.
  10. The tortillas are ready to roll with your favorite filling.
